St. Stephen’s High School held its first Mini-fair today since the pandemic. Students from all over Manila enjoyed the festive atmosphere. The theme of this year’s fair is Sundrop, which reflects the joy students have found with the end of the quarantine. It was inspired by images and themes of rebirth that students perceived in the film “Tangled.”
This year’s fair offers many exciting activities. Students were exhilarated by the Vikings ride. They also won exciting prizes in the carnival games. Younger children enjoyed the bouncy castles. Of course, one of the best things about the Mini-fair is the innovative recipes our students create for the food booths. Students exercise their entrepreneurial spirit while offering tasty treats.
Many alumni joined the fair this year as they reminisced about their years at St. Stephen’s. Everyone wore a smile on their face amid the colorful atmosphere.
The Mini-fair is organized every year by our hard working Committee on Student Activities (CSA). It is made up of students leaders under the advice of Lilan Chua, head of the High School Office of Student Affairs. All funds go toward financial assistance for students in need. Tomorrow, December 16th is the final day for the Mini-fair. It will be open from 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM. The price of admission is P30. All are welcome!
