St. Stephen’s High School held its fourth online concert, “All Things Bright and Beautiful” at 7 PM on April 22nd. The school’s commitment to the arts is unsurpassed, offering one of the only school concert programs in Manila during the pandemic and quarantine. The performance was broadcast from St. Stephen’s Facebook and YouTube pages and viewed across the globe, including the Philippines, the US, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, and more.

The concert featured a wide range of stunning performances from the school’s students. Elisha Monzon offered an enchanting interpretation of “Morning Has Broken.” Avi Gutierrez gave a moving presentation on the First Chapter of Genesis. The 2022 Winter Olympic theme song, “Together for a Shared Future” was performed by Eloisa So.

Jinecillee Chen delivered “Charming Spring” in beautiful, flowing Mandarin. This year’s concert featured a lyrical electric guitar solo, “Always with Me, Always with You” performed by Juan Mance. One of our graduating seniors, Kate Lim offered a soaring performance of the classic hymn, “All Things Bright and Beautiful.” To view these and many other fabulous performances, click on the link below.

“We are so proud of our students and our concert staff,” said Mrs. Margaret Belton, School Chief Operating Officer. “They have not surrendered the arts to the pandemic and quarantine. They have continued to express the talents that God has given them.”

The school’s Principal, Dr. Judy Go Tan said, “The concert is an expression of God’s beautiful creation. It speaks to our mission as a school after God’s own heart.”
