Every summer, the Association of the Chinese - Filipino School in the Philippines, organizes intensive training workshops for Filipino - Chinese teachers to prepare them for the coming school year. The objective is to equip teachers with new and attractive teaching styles and techniques tailored to make learning Chinese easy.
For 98 full years of glory, SSHS continues to shine for the Lord and be the lighthouse of the community. In this light, the school opens the doors and spread her arms to show the public her best quality by rolling out the big welcome mat, as she hosted an Open House for the Elementary and High School last January 10, 2016.
It’s the merry month of December once again, a month when people around the world are so busy for the Christmas season. This is also the month when the SSHS Committee for Students’ Activities (CSA) is busy preparing for the annual 2- day Mini—Fair.
One way of learning any foreign languages is through fun and entertainment. With this in mind, the High School Chinese Department came up with a presentation entitled: “Learning Chinese the Fun Way” last December 9, 2015 that exposed the Stephenians to different Chinese cultures through 18 different programs showcased at The Auditorium.
St. Stephen’s High School, together with the full support of the St. Stephen’s Alumni Association and St. Stephen's Parish, stands firm with her mission of being the lighthouse in the community, through the Annual Medical Mission which was held last November 22, 2015.
