Art Contest

"SSHS, the Home for Talented"

St. Stephen’s High School as an accredited school and an advocate of quality education, breeds highly talented pupils in various areas.

In visual arts, the following pupils benefited from the training given in the school’s Art Team coached by Mr. Rommel Quimson so that different awards were harvested:

1. Megala Caitlyn Raj Kumar of Gr. 5 – Jupiter who won the Silver Prize in the No-Hikari Association 22nd Annual World Children’s Picture Contest out of 23, 868 entries from 83 countries and regions last March 1, 2015 in Japan and 1st Honorable Mention in the TNK On the Spot Drawing & Painting Contest at Malabon Amphitheatre Malabon Municipal Hall on September 12, 2015.

2. Timothy Sze of Gr. 3 _ Narra who victored as Grand Winner Brent Sia Award for Peace in the 4th Kapayapaan International Children’s Art Festival last May 28, 2015 at KAISA Heritage Center Intramuros, Manila.

3. Myila Chiarra Raj Kumar of Gr. 2 – Chico who triumphed in the TNK On the Spot Drawing & Painting Contest at Malabon Amphitheatre Malabon Municipal Hall on September 12, 2015 winning 3rd Place.

For all the honors brought to school be these talented and gifted pupils, the credit is due to the Lord as all good and perfect gifts are from Him who enables everyone.
